Install Ruby 1.8.7 auf Lion without any bugs
Hier eine Kurzanleitung, um Ruby 1.8.7 auf Lion mit XCode 4.2 zum Laufen zu bringen. Apple änderte im XCode 4.2 den Standard-Compiler (auf einen LLVM Compiler). Daher kann man den GCC Standalone Compiler manuell installieren und kann den BUG Bus Error vermeiden.
- Install Xcode 4.2
- Install the gcc standalone compiler from https://github.com/kennethreitz/osx-gcc-installer (which replaces Xcode)
- Add “export CC=gcc-4.2” to your ~/.bash_profile
- Run “rvm implode” then re-install rvm http://beginrescueend.com/
